Supernatural is an American television series of the chain The CW Network, in its infancy, was transmitted by WB Television Network, which premiered on September 13, 2005. The series is filmed in Vancouver, British Columbia and surrounding areas and was in development, for nearly ten years, as creator Kripke spent several years unsuccessfully pitching it. Originally, Kripke planned the series for three seasons but later expanded it to five. The fifth season concluded the series' main storyline, and Kripke departed the series as showrunner. The series has continued on for several more seasons with new showrunners, including Sera Gamble, Jeremy Carver, Robert Singer and Andrew Dabb. With its eleventh season, Supernatural became the longest-running American live-action fantasy TV series. The series has been renewed for a fifteenth and final season to consist of 20 episodes.

 

SUMMARY 

 

The series recounts the exploits of the brothers Sam and Dean Winchester, played by actors Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles respectively, who travel to various locations in the United States aboard a Chevrolet Impala and black color 1967 model, investigating and fighting events paranormal, unexplained, many of them based on urban legends of American culture, as well as classic supernatural creatures such as vampires, werewolves and ghosts. Over the following seasons, the plot has diversified, primarily due to development of the protagonists and their relationship to events like the Apocalypse.
